In the first pic of yours, is that some shadows on the side or was the paint different shades like that? |

| Awesome 73'
I too had a 72' 240z. mine was burnt orange though and a stock engine. I always wanted weber carbs but at 16 you don't have much money. The stock SU's suck balls.. i was always fiddling them and adjusting the points!
Bad ass rides none the less! |

Yes! the hitachi's were on the 260z correct? I had also had a 74 260z......... pile oh crap.
I would like to get one as well someday. it's just so hard to find a clean one without paying an arm and a leg. A few years ago i ran across a blue 1970 240z fairlady. It was rhd and pretty clean. They wanted 5 grand for it and at the time i though it was too much. Now, i keep kicking myself in the ass for not buying it. |

| Yea that would have been a steal! I think you know a guy that had one/still has it. I looked at a gray 77 280z up there, I was tempted, but it was a little too far torn apart for my liking. I think all 260/280z's were fuel injected and only the 240's were carb'd. The deals are still out there, but they are getting a little few and far between these days. |

| I'd like to find one too. I'm just looking for that guy who has a clean 240Z that would sell it for a fair price to a guy who will love it as much as he does and more. I had a roommate back in the day(1990) in Tulsa who had a silver 240Z and it was clean and bad ass. I fell in love with those cars because of his car. He drove the hell out of it. |

| $6500.00 seems a bit steep. I hope he gets it though. I would like to above $7000.00 for mine, some day, but not any day soon. |
